Mix Colour in the mixing palette
Take the appropriate crayons to mix your desired colour. For guidance see 'Chromatics'.
In your Aquash set you'll find a pencil sharpener, a small sponge and three small impressions.
Take the crayons and sharpen them, making sure you keep the shavings.
Put the shavings into the small impressions. Adding water dissolves the shavings, and as you mix them with each other, new colours are created.
Take colours on to the Aquash Brush and apply as usual to the paper.
Tip:
The remaining colour shavings which are left over can be simply scattered onto the paper if the colours have been used on a painting already. By adding water with the Aquash Brush you can use these up completely.
