Colours

When starting out with aquarelle painting, we recommend using a small set of colours.

A wide range of colours can be confusing initially and it can be difficult to decide which colours to start using. Also, providing you have the basic primary colours, you can mix a wide range of shades and hues. That's why our Aquash Set contains 10 colours, which are:

White, Yellow, Green, Yellow-Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, Brown and Black.

If you chose to start with our Colour Brush, try the following colours to begin with:

Yellow, Orange, Red, Sky-Blue, Steel-Blue, Light-Green, Olive-Green, Saffron, Sepia-Brown, Purple, Brown and Black.
