Colour Brush and Pocket Brush Pen
Both brush pens have a high-quality writing tip made from nylon which has the quality of a paint brush.
But in comparison to other paint brushes, no extra ink pot is required.
The Colour Brush contains ready-mixed ink in its barrel. When the ink is used up, you can simply replace the cartridge.
The Pocket Brush Pen also includes ink. The ink is stored in a cartridge and can be easily replaced just like the cartridges in a fountain pen.
The ink of the Pocket Brush Pen includes pigments to give a strong black colour. The ink of the Colour Brush is water-based and beautiful watercolour effects can be created with it.

The beginnings:
If you are trying calligraphy for the first time we have put together some small exercises for you.
Come along with the Colour Brush and the Pocket Brush Pen and get to know the different line variations - from very fine and filigree lines up to wide and strongly curved lines. Find out how you must attach the paintbrush point and turn to vary the line strength to your desired wishes.
When using the Colour Brush we recommend watercolour paper. Because of the strong suction strength, the colour is taken up by the paper and produces nice watercolour effects. The Pocket Brush Pen can be applied on every kind of paper. Nevertheless, let the ink dry properly.
Here are few small exercises:
To become familiar with the Colour Brush and the Pocket Brush Pen, we have developed a few exercises for you.
Try to reproduce the illustrated motives on the left. The exercises should help you get to know the single line strengths of the Colour Brush and the Pocket Brush Pen and their paintbrush points closer. Thus, you can find out how you must vary the position of the paintbrush and pressure on the point to receive narrow and broader lines.
If your first attempts do not succeed immediately, do not allow yourself to be discouraged. Practise makes perfect.
Set yourselves small goals from the beginning, for example the creation of small place cards, invitations or thank-you cards.
